Michael is an International Sports Science Association certified trainer, and a black belt in both Seido and Oyama karate, a longtime 1st division soccer goalie, and surfer. He has trained with some great Japanese grand masters and German soccer coaches. Combine that athletic background with a mother who ran a health food store and holistic center in Rhinebeck N.Y. and taught her son about nutrition and alternative medicine, and the result is Michael Mansfield — considered one of the best personal and athletic trainers in New York City.
He is a very competitive athlete who trains his own body with intensity and respect. His health is excellent, both physically and psychologically, and he uses these attributes to motivate people, maximizing their potential.
